Prismacolor thick lead pencils . You should have a set of 48 or 24 pencils, plus 907 and 931 if
they are not included in your set. Make sure you buy thick lead pencils, and sharpen the end without the number.)
Buy the biggest set you are able to, as it is more difficult to add individual colors later.

kneaded eraser
white plastic eraser
hand held sharpener with replaceable blades
small sketch book, 4in x 6in or larger
Strathmore sketchbook, 11in x 14in or larger with 300 series drawing paper
F drawing pencil

For portrait classes only: Prismacolor thick lead pencils: 914, 927, 1013, 1014, 997, 942, 939, 1033, 928, 1019 (optional),
1017 (optional), 929, 941, 1032, 943, 946, 944,1031,947, 937, 935 and Goldenrod) You will need a reference photograph to
use for your portrait. Select a close up of a face that shows all of the features clearly, and enlarge it to 8in by 10in.
